While reconciling your account, make sure that the entered information is correct. The steps are simple. Click on the Gear Menu – Select Reconcile from the Tools section – select an account in the account drop-down list and then click on the reconcile now button. Check your bank statement for the selected account, enter the end date of the statement and ending balance in the respective boxes in QuickBooks.
